Using SkateWeights is a simple idea. If a skater's foot goes up and down 300 times, they have just picked up 300 pounds more than before. The idea is simple but the weight is REAL. The use of SkateWeights should start with ten to fifteen minutes twice a week. This will begin toning and conditioning of legs. Leg strength and foot speed will come with continued and extended use, as will the endurance factor of every skater. Good for hockey, ringette and recreational skating. Great for any type of hockey skate
