Congratulations to John Pitera, Jr. of Lyndhurst NJ, winner of our second annual $400 Grant Giveaway! John is a 14 year hockey enthusiast who eats, sleeps, and lives for the game. John has a big heart, he volunteers most of his free time tutoring young hockey players in addition to working with children who are less fortunate than him. We consider him a true ambassador for the game of hockey!

1st $400 Grant Giveaway Winner : Roy Bod

Torquay, SK

Congratulations to Roy Bod of Torquay SK Canada, winner of our first annual $400 Grant Giveaway! Roy is a 10 year old goaltender who spent a large part of last year in the hospital battling kawasaki disease. We consider him a true inspiration!

Unfortunately, only 1 in 3 families are able to register their kids in minor hockey. This is why we have decided to offer a $400 hockey grant to help a deserving child register and play the great sport of hockey - a sport that educates players in teamwork, commitment, discipline and physical fitness! If you know a child who wants to play hockey, but can not afford to play you can recommend them, or send this link to their parents and have them apply.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart (Canada Only) - We get kids in the game by covering the costs of equipment, registration and/or transportation. We also lend support to unique initiatives aimed at increasing access to sport and recreation programs.
