Doug represents the next generation of skills training. He is creative, forward-thinking and has sound knowledge in all areas of the game. This is obvious when one looks at his rapid ascension over the past 10 years to where he has now become a highly sought-after skills coach, developing custom skills programs for European elite players. In May 2019 he joined the Six Sports Leadership Agency as Manager of Player Development and Recruitment.

The Six Sports Leadership represents New Jersey Devils 2017 1st overall pick Nico Hischier. This new role will see Doug responsible for monitoring and tailoring programs for all of the agency’s pro & upcoming star players. Doug also runs his own academy (Leysin Sports Academy/OpenIce) which he began back in 2012. This academy has now grown to where they work with more than 2000 players annually. In addition to this, Doug is regularly travelling all over the world working with private clients who have requested his services. HockeyShot is proud to have such a talented and hard-working professional on our HS team.
