Let's Play Hockey Expo - 27th Annual

River Center/ Xcel Energy Center – St. Paul, Minnesota

On March 4th and 5th, 2016 HockeyShot attended the 27th Annual Let’s Play Hockey Expo at the River Center/ Xcel Energy Centre in St. Paul, Minnesota. This is the world's largest hockey consumer show and is held in conjunction with Minnesota's High-School State Championships. It was attended by over 40,000 people throughout the weekend! Everyone who came got to experience a thrilling amount of new and exciting products in the hockey world. HockeyShot was able to deliver a fantastic experience to all that attended by showcasing their collection of products to an eager hockey crowd. The Expo offered fans a sneak peek at the hottest hockey equipment, merchandise, schools and camps. Cutting-edge product demonstrations, giveaways, hourly door-prize drawings and celebrity appearances make the Let's Play Hockey Expo the best of its kind every single year! If that isn't enough for the hockey fan, there was even a hockey memorabilia and sports card show that took place in the lobby during the Expo. With every leading hockey company in North America present, plus the addition of a number of celebrities, and hockey experts, this was an Expo that was not to be missed by anyone. Whether you are just starting out or have been playing the game forever, there was something for everyone!

HockeyShot had a 20' x 20' booth set up that attracted thousands of rabid hockey fans throughout the weekend. The Extreme Shooting Tarp was given away along with T-Shirts, Bracelets, Pucks and Balls. It was an engaging set up that had kids lined up non-stop waiting to try out all the products available. To help with this there was a hockey training center set up to provide exceptional support for any athlete who had questions about everything they were testing. The HockeyShot ambassadors present for the show were Jeremy Rupke (HowToHockey) and Zac Bell (Always Hockey). Rupke was heavily involved on social media by posting picture and video updates throughout the weekend. "GO TOP SHELFIE AND TAKE A SELFIE WITH YOUTUBE SENSATION JEREMY RUPKE" could be heard periodically over the sound system. It was great to have both of their support throughout the event, and those in attendance (especially young fans) came away awe-struck with everything the HockeyShot team had to offer.

A number of former hockey stars were in attendance throughout the weekend. This included: Standout goalie Andy Moog, three former Olympians in Rob McClanahan, Mike Ramsey, Buzz Schneider and defensive wizard Jordan Leopold. There was a lot of excitement from the younger hockey players to meet some of their idols, and all of the former players were happy to sign autographs and take pictures with everyone who stopped by. Everywhere you looked there was someone with a deep knowledge of hockey, and that is something very valuable as everyone tries to further their hockey careers.

Minnesota is truly the State of Hockey!
