  • The Attack Pad is a new hockey shooting pad from TTP sports who also created the Attack Triangle. This shooting pad is different because it comes with lines and dots printed on it. These dots and lines are there to guide you when you practice your stickhandling drills. You can create your own stickhandling routines or use the ones provided.

  • The Fast Hands is another product designed to give you some obstacles to maneuver around while stickhandling. Working on your hands get’s a bit boring after a while so it helps to have some structure and challenges. Some other products in this category are the Sweethands and the X-deviator, both of which are made from plastic, whereas the Fast Hands is made from steel.

  • Have you ever been playing hockey outside as the sun is setting and you quickly realize it’s nearly impossible to see a black puck? This happened quite a bit with me as a child. The problem is we could not set up lights on the pond we played on (no electricity) and the sun would set around 6:30 pm so we didn’t have much time to play after school. Unfortunately there was not a product like the lit biscuit back then! (I’m only 26 but saying that makes me feel old.)

  • A hockey bag is a very important piece of equipment for any hockey player. The bag holds all of the equipment and is used every time the player has a game or practice. Some people don’t put much thought into purchasing a hockey bag, but a good hockey bag can go a long way, especially for younger players. Your average hockey bag is just that, a bag to throw all your hockey equipment in, but there are other options out there.

  • I think every hockey player has been in that situation, they are adding some forechecking pressure, the other team makes a bad pass, the puck comes within a few feet of the player and all they need to do is make one tight turn for a breakaway. Then comes a hockey players worst nightmare, they try to make a tight turn and one skate slides right out from underneath them. This is what we call “losing an edge”.

  • One of the concerns many people have with setting up a home hockey training center, is that you run the risk of wrecking your stuff with pucks from missed shots. I've known plenty of people who have ruined garage doors, broken windows, or hit their cars with pucks that either missed the net, or ricocheted off posts.

  • The Rick O’Shay is a great hockey targeting system that gives an alternative perspective to the conventional “Shooter Tutor” style, roll-up canvases. Since it’s a 3D mold, there are endless rebound possibilities, which makes for a much more realistic scrimmage experience.

  • This would not be a real review without us using and abusing this board. We took the hockey shooting pad to an outdoor rink. We also shot this video that shows us testing the shooting pad.

  • Every once in a while, a product comes along that just “makes sense.” The Dangle Glove is one of them. This special glove helps to “force” players to use proper technique while stickhandling.
